The local area - Holy Island

Sitting amid the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Holy Island lies off the extreme Northeast corner of England and is close to the pretty town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. It is a tidal island, accessed by a paved causeway, which becomes impassable by the incoming North Sea twice in every 24 hour period.
